As a whole, America has lived through every sentiment of prejudices and racism. In Raymond Carvers rook story, Cathedral, the narrator, here and after referred to as ?Bub, allows his own prejudices to keep him from beholding the whole picture of his wifes device friend. Carvers Cathedral boldly illustrates hence people should not be prejudice. Throughout the story, Bub is overtaken by the thought of a blind patch, Robert, in his menage.
